Online4EDU: Second project meeting in Riga
22.05.2015 - The second project meeting of Online4EDU took place in Latvia´s charming capital Riga from the 20th till the 21st of May. The five partner organisations from Estonia, Irland, Latvia, Lithuania and Germany came together for two days to discuss the progress of the first half year of the project and plan next steps. Therefore, we can happily announce that the results of the analyses about teachers´ usage and confidence in online collaboration tools will be published soon.
The first half year of the project is almost over and the consortium is already able to publish first results. In the partner countries Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Germany an analyses about the customs and confidence of teachers regarding online collaboration tools were conducted. In order to receive significant results that will influence the learning programme of the project, we carried out a desktop research, a standardized survey and expert interviews. The results were discussed in Riga and will be published on the project website soon.
During the two days meeting that was hosted by the project coordinator LIKTA, the consortium discussed the results of the analyses and how to implement them into the currently developed training curriculum. Furthermore plans were already made for the train-the trainer session that will take place on the 24th and 25th of November 2015 in Dublin, Irland.
