The Online Survey For Teachers Has Started

By Kevin Dooley
10.02.2015 - The Online4EDU survey for teachers has started today and the whole team is looking forward to many respondents. The survey plays a big role in designing and developing a curriculum to support teachers in their use of online collaboration tools. That is because the survey will gather information from teachers relating to their use of these tools and will help to shape the content of the curriculum. The survey is available in Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian and German and it will take approximately 15 minutes.

In order to receive a more authentic view of the learning needs of teachers in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Germany, the national surveys will be conducted with the aim to analyse the gaps of knowledge and skills which teachers might possess in the field of online collaboration.
Based on the survey results and the ECDL standards for Online Collaboration, a curriculum will be created that meets the national learning needs of teachers. A blended learning course, that includes at least one face-to-face training and additional course material on the e-learning platform Moodle, will be designed. The course will prepare the trainees to conduct the ECDL test on Online Collaboration.
